This week, Heather is joined by Traci Schott, Owner of Feed Your Soul. Everyone should have a therapist on speed dial. May is mental health month. Listen as she gives some useful tips in times of tough circumstances.
Give Back Jack was started in 2017 by Allison Shipp, who was in Leadership Jackson at the time. It was a community #GivingTuesday campaign and continued. When the pandemic hit in March, Allison saw many struggling to make ends meet, some for the first time in their lives. Many didn’t know where their next meals would come from, and others were relying on the generosity of others for the first times ever. Allison began adding some food items and other essentials to existing local free little libraries around town as a way to help out her neighbors. This has grown to over 15 Blessing Boxes... Only rule is "Take what you need. Bring what you can. Above all, be blessed."
In this episode of Woman 2 Woman, Heather dives deep into the world of gut health. She shares her personal experience with digestive issues and how she has found relief through dietary changes and supplements.
Later in the episode, Heather opens up about the emotional journey of watching her son turn 16 and entering a new season in life. She discusses the challenges of parenting a teenager and the mixed emotions of watching her child grow up and become more independent.
Overall, this episode of Woman 2 Woman is packed with valuable information and heartfelt moments that will resonate with listeners. Whether you're struggling with gut health or navigating the ups and downs of parenting, Heather's candid and relatable approach will leave you feeling empowered and inspired.
