This week, we’ll provide an update on the Malesus STEM Innovation Center - which is scheduled to open for middle school students in August. Our Chief Innovation Officer Dr. Teresa McSweeney will join us to provide renovation details, information about the STEM classes that will be offered, and exciting info about the Toyota Engineering, Manufacturing & Mechatronics Institute.
This week, we’re visiting with Dr. Marlon King, Superintendent of the Jackson-Madison County Schools System. The Superintendent is tasked with directing and overseeing our 26 school, 13,000 students and nearly 2,000 employees.
This morning we’ll visit with members of the upcoming theater production - ALL Shook Up! Carsen Cole from Liberty Tech and Khaliah Wade from Jackson Academic STEAM Academy are here to talk about their roles in the musical and tell us about several opportunities for students at their respective schools.
