The Elementary Basketball jamboree tipped off this week and more than 1,000 people attended the event. Plus auditions were held for Annie Jr. Nearly 100 students tried out for the spring play!

This morning we are visiting with the head coach of the JCM Cougars - Coach Kendall Dancy - The Cougars cruised through District 13-AA undefeated for the second year in a row and their march through the postseason continues with the region tournament.
This week we will preview the kickoff of our Leap Up for Literacy campaign. This is the second year of Leap Up for Literacy in the Jackson-Madison County School System. Academic coordinator, Jennifer Wells and East Elementary instructional coach Jill Tanner will join us for the conversation.
