6th Annual Books At The Barn Drive-Through Dining Event to benefit The Madison County Imagination Library (MCIL)

MCIL (Madison County Imagination Library) Board of Directors will be hosting a special event, Books At The Barn to raise much needed funds to continue providing books from birth to age 5 for all children born in Jackson and Madison County. The event will be held from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m., Tuesday, May 4, at the West Tennessee Farmers Market, 91 New Market St, Jackson, Tenn.

This year’s BATB celebration will feature drive-through dining for sponsoring businesses and organizations. COVID-19 precautions will be observed. The MCIL is an affiliate of Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library. MCIL and Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library have been promoting early reading and literacy since its beginning. Children in Jackson Madison county can explore the world from a very early age through the “magic” of books. The MCIL has been giving the gift of literacy by providing books from birth to age 5 to each child born in Madison county, over 500,000 books have been distributed. MCIL has continued that proud tradition of providing books throughout the pandemic.
