The Jackson-Madison County Regional Health Department received positive test results for five more cases of COVID-19, according to a Monday morning news release from the department. There is now a cumulative total of 11,296 confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Madison County.
The newest confirmed cases range from ages 8 to 39.
The department’s epidemiology staff are reaching out to these individuals and people who had close contact with these cases.
Two Madison County residents are currently hospitalized. No patients are on ventilators.
The department also released the following demographic information about Madison County’s confirmed COVID-19 cases.
