The Jackson Police Department is warning the community about the use of car decals on their vehicles, according to a Tuesday afternoon news release.
Car decals are fun and can seem harmless, but can they can also advertise useful information to criminals, such as how many kids you have, what their names are, what sports they are involved in, where they go to school, etc.
JPD is asking citizens to not make themselves an easy target.
Ask yourself, “How much information are you sharing?”
