Health Department Confirms Cumulative Total of 11,097 Cases of COVID-19 in Madison County

The Jackson-Madison County Regional Health Department received positive test results for 24 more cases of COVID-19, according to a Tuesday morning news release. There is now a cumulative total of 11,097 confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Madison County.

The newest confirmed cases range from ages 6 to 55.

The department’s epidemiology staff are reaching out to these individuals and people who had close contact with these cases.

Five Madison County residents are currently hospitalized. None of those patients are on ventilators.

The department also released the following demographic information about Madison County’s confirmed COVID-19 cases.
