The following is a hazardous weather outlook from the National Weather Service in Memphis:
Severe thunderstorms capable of producing damaging winds, large hail, heavy rain, and tornadoes will be likely today.
Some storms could produce strong, long tracked tornadoes. A high risk of severe weather exists for portions of the forecast area today. Visit https://www.weather.gov/meg/ to see a map.
Severe thunderstorms will be possible across the Mid-South from late Friday night through Saturday night.
