Buchanan, Tenn.–The daughter of Country Music Legend Hank Williams Jr. died in a car crash Saturday night near Paris Landing State Park and her husband was airlifted following the crash.
According to the Tennessee Highway Patrol, Katherine Williams-Dunning, who was called ‘Katie’, died in the accident. She was 27.
According to the report, she was driving and towing a boat on Hwy. 79N around 7:45 p.m. when the SUV crossed the median for an unknown reason and rolled over near West Antioch Rd. Her husband, Tyler Dunning, age 29, was injured and airlifted to Vanderbilt Medical Center, where his condition is unknown.
Katie’s brother Sam Williams posted a plea for prayers on Facebook, “My sister and brother in law have been In a terrible accident. Please pray for them so hard.”
