Our Superintendent, Dr. Marlon King began the gay-la tradition as a way from business and civic leaders to learn about the great things happening in the Jackson-Madison County School System…students in our fine arts programs perform at this annual event - and the Superintendent provides a state of the school address.
This week, we’re visiting with Dr. Marlon King, Superintendent of the Jackson-Madison County Schools System. The Superintendent is tasked with directing and overseeing our 26 school, 13,000 students and nearly 2,000 employees.
This morning we will visit with members of the madison academic soccer team Braden Nye, Donovan Pruitte and Kyle Korth. The mustangs won the class a state championship to cap off an undefeated season. Just as impressive are the academic accomplishments of the three student athletes we’ll speak with today.
