The Jackson Symphony has a concert for everyone in its 64th Season, which opens with “Appalachian Spring” Saturday, September 7 at The NED Performing Arts Center in Jackson.

“This is a season of community firsts for The Jackson Symphony,” said Sherry Freeman, Executive Director. “From playing the soundtrack live to the HD film, “Disney’s Hocus Pocus” to the first full stage ballet performance with the orchestra, we are thrilled to bring new experiences for our audiences.”

“In addition, table seating is expanding to five performances at the Carl Perkins Civic Center, with a classical concert included for the first time,” Freeman continued. “To enjoy a professional orchestra alongside a fantastic meal, all in one location, is a treat, and one of the things that makes The Jackson Symphony a go-to for a night out in West Tennessee.”

Popular favorites return with the free community concert, “Starlight Symphony” on the lawn of First Presbyterian Church as well as the annual Holiday Pops concerts.
