Kendrick Lamar has released the short film for his song “We Cry Together” featuring actress Taylour Paige.
The video, which is being described as a short film, is directed by Jake Schreier, Dave Free, and Kendrick with Adam Newport-Berra serving as cinematographer. “We Cry Together” is the second track from Kendrick’s album “Mr. Morale & the Big Steppers” to receive a video, the first being “N95” featuring Baby Keem.
“Mr. Morale & the Big Steppers” debuted at the No. 1 spot on the Billboard 200 chart earlier this year, making it Kendrick’s fourth consecutive No. 1 album. The record earned 295,000 equivalent album units in its first week, and all of its songs charted on the Billboard Hot 100. The 35-year-old rapper has also been on the road with his The Big Steppers tour.
