Patrol officers from the Martin Police Department were dispatched to the area of North McCombs Street and Walters Avenue in reference to multiple calls pertaining to gunshots late Saturday night, August 28, around 11:48 p.m., according to a Monday morning Facebook post from the department.
Officers did locate spent shell casings in the area and multiple witnesses said that they saw a tall, slender, black male run from the area and get into a car down the street.
The post said no injuries have been reported at this time. The investigation on the case is still ongoing.
