Becky Fly has been named the volunteer coordinator for The Carnegie Legends Museum, according to a Tuesday news release from the Jackson Arts Council.
“I’m thrilled to be a part of this wonderful exhibit of priceless memorabilia! We are currently in the process of selecting volunteer docents to help at their convenience. A meeting at the museum has been planned for Thursday, July 29th from 2:00-3:30.”
Anyone interested in volunteering is welcome to attend. Persons attending are under no obligation to volunteer.

Fly has had three careers: 3 years in Arts Management, 15 years in healthcare management and her final “career” which was teaching high school theatre at Madison Academic Magnet High School for 23 years.
She received The Jefferson Award for teaching, the West TN Healthcare Foundation award for Community Service and Teacher of the Year.
She was born in Gallatin, TN and graduated from Lambuth College.
She has acted, costumed and directed with the Jackson Theatre Guild for many years, and has served on the boards of The Tennessee Theatre Association and the Theatre Advisory Panel for The TN Arts Commission.
She enjoys acting in films, videos and commercials, and has had speaking parts in The Help, The Last Exorcism, The Legand of Hallowdega Nights, Blue Like Jazz, Constantine and The Texas Killing Fields. In Nashville she shot a scene with Robin Williams for his last film, Boulevard, and was in three episodes of the CMT TV series Still the King written by and starring Billy Ray Cyrus. She recently completed filming a supporting role in a pilot for a TV show starring Pam Tillis.
She has been fortunate to have worked with Billy Bob Thornton, Milos Foreman, Terry Gilliam and Griffin Dunne.
