Hohenwald, Tenn.– At the conclusion of a spring fundraising effort called “Round Up for Children,” Fast Stop Markets was able to gift more than $29,850 to five child advocacy centers across Middle and West Tennessee. Fast Stop Markets’ customers were asked to donate their extra change to child advocacy centers that support and protect victims of child abuse in their communities.

These partner centers include:

  • Exchange Club – Carl Perkins Center (Chester, Decatur, Henderson and additional West Tennessee counties);
  • Davis House Child Advocacy Center (Hickman, Lewis, Perry & Williamson counties);
  • Child Advocacy Center for the 23rd Judicial District (Cheatham, Dickson, Houston, Humphreys, and Stewart counties);
  • Kid’s Place (Lawrence, Giles, Maury, and Wayne Counties); and
  • Montgomery County Child Advocacy Center.

“This effort was all about supporting these vulnerable children and raising awareness about these critical services,” said Seth Blanks, CEO of Highland Corporation, the parent company of Fast Stop Markets. “We are so thankful to these centers for the important work they do every day. We’re also thankful to our customers for stepping up in such a major way for children in their communities. This would not have been possible without their generosity.”

Fast Stop Markets is a subsidiary of Highland Corporation, which coordinated this effort through its charitable arm, the Highland Corporation Charitable Foundation based in Hohenwald, Tenn. Fast Stop Markets has 14 stores located in Columbia, Spring Hill, Dickson, White Bluff, Centerville, Lawrenceburg, Lexington, Henderson, Parsons, and Clarksville.
