JPD: Man Arrested on Outstanding Warrant for Failure to Appear on Felony Drug and Weapon Offenses

Jackson Police in partnership with citizens of Jackson and other agencies apprehended Blake O Carroll,  35, for an outstanding warrant out of Madison County Circuit Court for failure to appear on felony drug and weapon offenses.

Officers and investigators with the Madison County Metro Narcotics Unit, the Jackson Police Department’s (Patrol Unit, Street Crimes Unit, and Gang Enforcement Team) arrested Carroll at 2318 N. Highland Avenue, Executive Inn, around 4 p.m. Thursday, July 7.  While arresting Carroll for his outstanding warrant, investigator’s gained probable cause to obtain a search warrant for his room.  During the execution of the search warrant, investigators seized 42 grams of methamphetamine, 8.5 grams of heroin/fentanyl, 10 grams of marijuana and a loaded handgun.

This arrest was a collaborative effort between law enforcement agencies and was part of the ongoing Blue Impact Initiative instituted by Jackson Police Chief Julian Wiser.  However, if anyone has information that would assist in this and other ongoing investigation, contact the Jackson Police Department at 731-425-8400.
