Jackson Police will host a fundraiser to help support Jackson Police Officer Joseph Shephard, according to a Thursday morning news release from the Jackson Police Department.
Shephard had extensive surgery April 23 to remove a cyst that was located on his brain. Because of the surgery and his journey to recovery, Shephard will be away from work for an extensive period of time to recover, rehab, and heal. Shephard’s wife and two kids will also assist in his journey to recovery.
Therefore, JPD Chief Wiser and the employees of the Jackson Police Department will host a fundraiser May 7 beginning at 7:00 a.m.
Beginning at 7:00 a.m., you can purchase Bacon, Egg, and Cheese Breakfast Sandwiches with a $5 donation.
Beginning at 11:00 a.m., the public will be able to purchase BBQ Bologna Sandwich Plates for $5 or BBQ Chicken Quarter Plates for $7.
