The Jackson-Madison County School System is excited to announce the locations for its Rising Stars Summer Learning Camp.
More than 3,000 students have signed up to take advantage of this intensive learning opportunity – which focuses on math and reading.
Summer camp for the system’s rising 1st through 5th grade students will take place at the following locations:
- Alexander
- Arlington
- Andrew Jackson
- Community Montessori
- Denmark
- East
- Lincoln
- Isaac Lane
- Pope
- Rose Hill
- Thelma Barker
- South Elementary
These campus locations are for the elementary grades and will operate from Monday, May 24 through Friday, June 18th [Monday- Thursday from 8:00 AM-3:00 PM]
– Current middle schoolers at CMS will attend the CMS camp. Current 5th graders at Denmark and South will attend camp at those respective locations.
Rising Stars summer learning camps for our middle school students will operate from Monday, June 28 through Friday, July 23 [Monday-Thursday from 8:00AM-2:00PM] and include the following locations:
- Jackson Careers and Technology
- Northeast Middle
- North Parkway
West Bemis Middle students who signed up for summer learning opportunities will attend the camp at JCT.
Remember, meals and transportation will be provided for students. In addition to academics, Physical activity and games will be included in the camp. Parents: Your child’s school will contact you to make you aware of your child’s camp location.
