Health Department Confirms Cumulative Total of 11,130 Cases of COVID-19 in Madison County

The Jackson-Madison County Regional Health Department received positive test results for eight more cases of COVID-19, according to a Wednesday morning news release from the department. There is a cumulative total of 11,130 confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Madison County.

The newest confirmed cases range from ages 13 to 41.

The department’s epidemiology staff are reaching out to these individuals and people who had close contact with these cases.

Three Madison County residents are currently hospitalized. One of those patients is on a ventilator.

The department also released the following demographic information about Madison County’s confirmed COVID-19 cases.
