Health Department Confirms Three Additional COVID-19 Deaths, Cumulative Total of 11,073 Cases of COVID-19 in Madison County

The Jackson-Madison County Regional Health Department confirms three additional COVID-19 related deaths, bringing the total to 230 in Madison County, according to a Monday morning news release from the department. The newest deaths include:

  • 53-year-old male (died 2/6/2021)
  • 60-year-old female (died 2/14/2021)
  • 64-year-old male (died 2/16/2021)

The health department received positive test results for three more cases of COVID-19. There’s a cumulative total of 11,073 confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Madison County.

The newest confirmed cases range from ages 18 to 48.

The department’s epidemiology staff are reaching out to these individuals and people who had close contact with these cases.

Five Madison County residents are currently hospitalized. One of those patients is on a ventilator.
