The Jackson-Madison County Regional Health Department received positive test results for eight more cases of COVID-19. There is now a cumulative total of 10,925 confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Madison County.
The newest confirmed cases range from ages 23 to 74.
The department’s epidemiology staff are reaching out to these individuals and people who had close contact with these cases.
Five Madison County residents are currently hospitalized. Two of those patients are on a ventilator.
