Health Department Confirms 10,782 Cumulative Cases of COVID-19 in Madison County

The Jackson-Madison County Regional Health Department received positive test results for 6 more cases of COVID-19, according to a Monday morning news release from the health department. There are now 10,782 cumulative confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Madison County.

The newest confirmed cases range from ages 10 to 74.

The department’s epidemiology staff is reaching out to these individuals and people who had close contact with these cases.

Five Madison County residents are currently hospitalized. One of those patients is on a ventilator.

The department also released the following demographic information about Madison County’s confirmed COVID-19 cases.
