“I strongly believe that relationships are the key to success in any organization, but particularly in education where student empowerment and teacher development lead to a positive culture on campus. A focus on student morale and high expectations is where success begins,” Dr. Breeden said.

Dr. Breeden will serve amongst our middle school slate of principals where she adds diversity to the group. The Belief Statements of the Jackson-Madison County School System are crucial to the structure of our organization and leveraging diversity is key.

“We were most impressed with Dr. Breeden’s track record of building a positive culture on the campuses she’s been charged with leading. She’s done this through school programs, activities, instructional strategies, and events with high expectations for students and their families,” said Dr. Vivian Williams, deputy superintendent, academics.
