Health Department Confirms 10,335 Cases of COVID-19 in Madison County

The Jackson-Madison County Regional Health Department received positive test results for 39 more cases of COVID-19, according to a Wednesday morning news release from the department. There are now 10,335 cumulative confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Madison County.

The newest confirmed cases range from ages 8 to 84.

The department’s epidemiology staff are reaching out to these individuals and people who had close contact with these cases.

Fourteen Madison County residents are currently hospitalized. Two of those patients are on a ventilator.
