Jackson Police Captain Gause and Harris presented Sergeant Travis McNatt, Sergeant Taylor Lawley and Officer Robert Stevens Life Saving Awards Wednesday, Jan. 20, according to a Wednesday afternoon news release.
According to the awards, each officer was noted as going above and beyond in the performance of their duties for the preservation of life of citizens of this community.
Like other officers who have been recipients of the Life Saving Award, these officers timely action in rendering aid and comfort to victims, who appeared at the time to have been mortally wounded, is a testament to their capabilities.
These officers cool professionalism, incident management skills, and exceptional dedication to duty, are a credit to themselves, the police profession, and the citizenry of Jackson, Tennessee, the release said.
