Health Department Confirms Three Additional COVID-19 Deaths, 5,119 Cases of COVID-19 in Madison County

The Jackson-Madison County Regional Health Department confirms three additional COVID-19 related deaths, bringing the total number to 95 in Madison County, according to a Thursday morning news release from the department.

The newest deaths include:

  • 75-year-old female (died 11/4/2020)
  • 52-year-old female (died 11/17/2020)
  • 78-year-old female (died 11/18/2020)

The health department received positive test results for 87 more cases of COVID-19. There are now 5,119 confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Madison County.

The newest confirmed cases range from ages 2 to 83.

The department’s epidemiology staff are reaching out to these individuals and people who had close contact with these cases.

Twenty-six Madison County residents are currently hospitalized. Five of those patients are on a ventilator.

The department also released the following demographic information about Madison County’s confirmed COVID-19 cases.
