There have been 54,730 recoveries, 922 more since Saturday. A total of 4,244 people with COVID-19 have been hospitalized, but the department noted that while the number indicates the number of patients that were ever hospitalized during their illness, it does not indicate the number of patients currently hospitalized.
A total of 1,381,859 tests have been taken, which is 50,431 more since Saturday’s report.
