208 Cases of COVID-19 in Madison County, Including a 9 Year-Old and a 9 Month-Old

The Jackson-Madison County Regional Health Department received positive test results for three more confirmed cases of COVID-19, according to a Tuesday morning news release from the department. There are now 208 confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Madison County.

The newest cases include:

  • a 9-year-old female (not hospitalized)
  • a 24-year-old female (not hospitalized)
  • a 9-month-old female (not hospitalized)

The department’s epidemiology staff are reaching out to people who had close contact with these individuals.

One Madison County resident is currently hospitalized and on a ventilator.

The release said 187 residents have recovered from COVID-19 and six people say they are feeling better.

The department also released the following demographic information about Madison County’s confirmed COVID-19 cases.
