205 Cases of COVID-19 in Madison County

The Jackson-Madison County Regional Health Department received positive test results for three more confirmed cases of COVID-19, according to a Monday morning news release from the health department. There are now 205 confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Madison County.

The most recent cases include:

  • a 67-year-old female (hospitalized)
  • a 35-year-old male (hospitalization unknown)
  • a 35-year-old male (not hospitalized)

The department’s epidemiology staff are still trying to reach one of these individuals, so hospitalization status is unknown at this time. We are also reaching out to people who had close contact with these cases.

Two Madison County residents are currently hospitalized with COVID-19. One of those patients is on a ventilator.

The release said 181 Madison County residents have recovered from COVID-19 and seven people say they are feeling better.
