The City of Jackson Mayor’s Office released the dates of two upcoming special called budget hearings Thursday afternoon through a public notice.
The notice states that an ordinance will be introduced before the City Council of the City of Jackson on June 16 for the purpose of which is to appropriate the proceeds of the tax levy and other city revenues for the fiscal year July 1, 2020, through June 30, 2021.
There will be special called budget hearings on the following dates, times and locations:
- Tuesday, June 16, 8 a.m., at Jackson City Council Chambers at Jackson City Hall, 1010 E. Main Street.
- Tuesday, June 23, 9 a.m., at Jackson City Council Chambers at Jackson City Hall, 1010 E. Main Street.
The June 9 special called meeting has been changed to 9 a.m. at City Hall, an early notice from the mayor’s office stated.
