The Jackson-Madison County Regional Health Department received positive test results for four more confirmed cases of COVID-19, according to a Tuesday morning news release. There are now 163 confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Madison County.
The most recent cases include:
- a 24-year-old male (not hospitalized)
- a 56-year-old male (not hospitalized)
- an 18-year-old female (not hospitalized)
- a 12-year-old male (not hospitalized)
The release said the department’s epidemiology staff are reaching out to people who had contact with these patients.
There are four Madison County residents currently hospitalized with COVID-19, with two of those patients on ventilators.
The release said 139 Madison County residents have recovered from COVID-19 and six people say they are feeling better.
